Invitation: COG 2006

Ladies and gentlemen, dear members –

The working group "computer oriented geology" (COG) of the Austrian Geological Society (ÖGG) organizes annual meetings to discuss the application of timely geo software and associated development trends. This year’s COG meeting will be held june 16, 2006 (Friday) at the University of Salzburg (Natural Sciences Faculty). Meeting languages will be German and English, focus will be on the following topics: applied Geostatistics, Modelling of Micro and Macro Structures, Geological 3D Modelling with CAD and GIS, Basin Modelling.

This year’s COG meeting will be free; according to the intention of self-financing there will be a contribution for visiting the COG starting with 2007.
